"I am an owner of three vineyards in the Eola-Amity Hills. I have been farming wine grapes for 41 years. I have been part of the spore trapping community for eight or nine years. I have found the technology very useful in timing the initial sprays, in deciding on spray intervals during the season, etc. In general, the traps have saved me two or three sprays a season. This has been especially true since we moved away from synthetic fungicides. Powdery Mildew is the most serious pest we face, especially in epidemic years. Moreover, there are many more neighbors just across the fence. Not all are careful about their control measures. The trap data, communicated and shared twice a week, is especially powerful in the aggregate. If spore numbers spike up the road or on the other side of the hill, I need to know. I encourage all of my fellow winegrowers to participate!"

"We have used the Revolution Crop Consultants Powdery Mildew Traps for the past four vintages at Zenith Vineyard. I consider it an indispensable part of our viticulture practice. The virtually real-time data allows for quick adjustments to our spray program and we appreciate knowing the general level of PM pressure in our neighborhood. Even in high PM pressure years like 2022 Zenith fruit was clean and our spray program did its job. We look forward to continued use of the service and it will be even more robust and useful with more clients using the service."

"At Keeler Estate Vineyard we use Revolution spore trapping to help us manage our Organic/Biodynamic Vineyard, their service has proven to be invaluable in our record keeping and schedules of BD sprays and intervals. When we see spore counts jump from their reports, but no visual evidence walking thru the block, we adjust our timing based upon the results and watch it closely. It is a very helpful monitor to use for PM control."

"The Crawford Beck Vineyard has been a part of the development and then the implementation of the spore trapping method for estimating powdery mildew risk since Dr. Mahaffee first began developing the technology in his lab at ARS/USDA. We beta-tested the PM spore LAMP assay in our own laboratory, participated when his students collected spore trap rods in our vineyard, and now have purchased the service from the beginning of Revolution Crop Consultants. The reason for this commitment to using the spore trapping technology is the level of certainty that it offers with regard to the efficacy of our PM spray program, the much greater accuracy in estimating PM risk compared to Gubler method, and the accompanying ability to determine the level of fungicide resistance of the PM spores found in our vineyard. We are grateful for the service that you provide."
